I’ve spent more that 15 years helping children find their voice — and I still love every minute of it. My approach is play-based, evidence-driven, and built around the child in front of me. I’m here to work with your whole family, not just your child.

WHY I DO THIS WORK

My Story

I started Talk Together because it was the right move for my family, and it turned out to be the right move for how I wanted to practice too.

In private practice, I can give each child what they need for as long as they need it. Treatment plans are built around the child in front of me — their goals, their pace, their family's life. As a mom of three, I know first hand how much it means to feel like someone genuinely has your child's back. That's the kind of care I always wanted to provide.

Something I feel strongly about: the progress doesn't stop when the sessions end. I work with parents as true partners — sharing what I'm seeing, explaining what we're working on, and sending you home with simple, practical strategies to use in everyday life. The families who are involved in the process see the biggest gains. That's not a coincidence.

As for what sessions actually look like? Mostly I play games. I find the thing that makes a reluctant child light up — and then I use that thing strategically until they've made more progress than they thought possible.

My favourite kind of client is the kid who didn't want to come. Who'd maybe tried therapy before and it hadn't clicked. Winning them over — watching them realize this can actually be fun, and that they can do it — that's what this job is really about for me. If things go the way they should, your child is going to leave sessions excited about what they did, proud of what they accomplished, and already asking when they get to come back.

HOW I WORK

My Approach

Every child I work with is different — different strengths, different challenges, and different ways of engaging. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, but no two therapy plans look the same.

It’s engaging and play-based.
Children learn best when they’re interested and having fun.

We move at your child’s pace.
Goals are collaborative, and built around what matters most.

Parents are part of the process.
I work with you, not just your child.

Progress is recognized and celebrated.
Every step forward counts.
